Airport Director of Technical Operations
The Airport's Director of Technical Operations is Gary Hodgetts.
Gary is responsible for environmental issues - including noise, air quality and track-keeping - and for Airport Safeguarding. Such issues should be raised with him in the first instance.

Head of CSR and Public Affairs.
Liam joined the Airport in early February 2013 as Head of CSR and Public Affairs. In this role he is responsible for overseeing the Airport’s Community Relations programme, stakeholder and corporate communications around the planning application for the City Airport Development Programme and wider stakeholder relations, involving audiences such as the the London Borough of Newham the GLA, the CBI and LCCI and the consultation processes around (for example) river crossings and airport capacity, and – where necessary – national government.
Liam has extensive and wide-ranging experience in stakeholder and community engagement, having run successful campaigns for the BBC (digital switchover), the Greater London Authority (national census) and Transport for London (Olympic Games engagement).
There are two CSR Executives - Anthony Angol and Claire Davey
Anthony Angol, who has a Bachelors Honours in International Tourism Management, joined the Airport in 2010 via the Take Off Into Work programme. He previously worked in the Customer Service Department for 18 months before successfully applying for the role as Community Relations Executive in November 2011. Anthony’s main focus is on secondary school programmes, employability programmes, work experience and various other health and wellbeing projects with a primary focus on the programmes set out in the section 106 agreement. Anthony is also the London City Airport Travel Plan Co-ordinator.

Claire Davey, joined the Airport in February 2014 as a CSR Executive. Her main focus is on delivering programmes for local primary schools and building relationships with new and existing community partners. A geography graduate and trained secondary school teacher, Claire has also spent time working at Three Hands; an organisation that brings together corporates with non-profits on tailored, high impact projects.
